My name is Luna Hortman and I am independent filmmaker and photographer based in Charlotte, NC. I am a senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and will graduate in May of 2025 with a bachelor of science in political science and economics as well as certificate in film and media production. I am passionate about using film and photography to express ideas about the world and to to tell engaging and interesting stories. I have over 8 years of experience with the Creative Cloud suite working extensively with both Premiere Pro and After Effects. I’m also a bit of a camera nerd.

When not involved in school or film, I am an avid competitive Magic The Gathering player and I am heavily involved in the Charlotte DIY punk scene, where I go to several shows a month.
